EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)
- San Diego County Emergency Medical Technician Certification
- DMV Printout (30 days current) upon interview
- Medical Examiner Card
- California Ambulance Driver License

- CPR Certification

PARAMEDIC
- Paramedic Certification from the State of California EMS Authority
- Paramedic Accreditation from the San Diego County EMS Agency
- Provider Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- DMV Printout (30 days current) upon interview
- Medical Examiner Card
- California Ambulance Driver License
- California Driver License
- CPR Certification
CCT/SE NURSE
- RN License
- CA Driver License
- CPR Card
- ACLS Card
- TB Test Results Due on first day of Orientation
- PALS
- TNCC ** Not required for employment but preferred
A physical assessment will be required for all EMT, PARAMEDIC and RN applicants.
Employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of the physical assessment.
PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENT
- Ability to lift 120 pounds from ground to waist level, ascend and descend a flight of stairs.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend at waist/neck and walk 3 to 6 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 120 pounds from ground level and carry laterally two feet.
- Ability to lift 120 pounds from ground to standing position.
