San Diego Medical Services Enterprise (SDMSE) is a public/private partnership formed
as a limited liability company between the city of San Diego and Rural/Metro Ambulance.
SDMSE is the largest 911 paramedic and non-emergency medical transportation provider in
San Diego County.

9/29/09 : Books Ahoy to the the Rescue! SDMSE Donates Ambulance to Encinitas Kiwanis Literacy Program
San Diego Medical Services Enterprise has donated a heavy
rescue ambulance to the Encinitas Kiwanis for the organization’s “Books Ahoy” Program. The
Kiwanians will convert the apparatus into a mobile library for their pirate-themed literacy
program, which encourages children to become avid, lifelong readers. Read more
